This Street is named Sidi Fateh, because at its intersection with Boulevard Al-Alou, is the tomb of Sidi Fateh, he was a just guardian of the known saints in the city of Rabat, it is located in the southern part of the medina.  
This Street represented the border between the Moorish districts which date back to the 17th century and the Alawite districts which start from Sidi Fateh Street in the direction of the Almohad wall, passing by Lagzah Street “in the direction of the southern facade of the medina”.
